The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Long of 7106 Weather Stone Row, New Port Richey. She is a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Manhasset, N.Y., and Queens Hospital Center School of Nursing in Jamaica, N.Y. She attends the University of South Florida and is employed at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alden Townsend of Fort Myers. He is a graduate of Albany (N.Y.) High School and received an associate of science degree from Edison Community College in Fort Myers. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and is employed at St. Joseph's Hospital. The couple will reside in St. Petersburg.
