1. Obituary: The Oshkosh Northwestern on 23 Feb 1970 in Oshkosh, Winnebago, WI, United States. ¹ George C. Young, 75, formerly of Oshkosh, died Saturday at the Veterans Hospital in Bay Pines, Fla. He had been a resident of Gulfport, Fla. He was born in Oshkosh on April 15, 1894, and went to Florida from Chicago in 1959. Mr. Young was a retired civil engineer. Surviving are his widow, Anna; two stepsons, Richard Plewes, Flint, Mich., and John Plewes, Boulder, Colo.; and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Rathburn, San Diego, Calif. Services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Lew M. Bashaw Funeral Home, Gulfport, Fla.
