Philadelphia, September 19. -- Anthony Romig Finck, M. D., Ph. D., a well known writer on medical topics and prominent in many secret societies, died today at his home, aged 78 years. He was engaged in the practice of medicine in this city for more than fifty years and was consulting physician at the Masonic home. He was surpreme medical examiner of the Shield of Honor and was state grand master of that order.

Anthony married Susan Athalia Fechtig, daughter of John Henry Fechtig and Sarah Salome Beecher.
