Know all men by these presents that whereas David Booher Senior, Deceased, maid his last will and testament in writing among other legacies therein contained did give and beqeath unto me Polly Booher say the seventh part of a tract or tracts of land lying in the County of Sullivan and State of Tennessee adjoining the lands of George Worley William Willoughby James King William Moore and others on the waters of Ceder branch being an undivided tract of lands which as will appeare in the last will and testament of the said David Booher Deceased which is to be divided whenever his youngest son Christian Booher arrives at the age of twenty one years of which I the said Polly Booher am intitled to one seventh part of said lands now know ye that I the said Polly for the compensation of one hundred and fifty dollars in hand paid by David Booher son of said David Booher deceased the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargin and sell unto the said David Booher all my right title interest and claim which I now have or ever shall or will have in and to said tracts of land now know ye that I the said Polly Booher being fully satisfied in the priemises have remised released and forever quit claim and by these presents do remise release and forever quit claimed unto the said David Booher his heirs executors or administrators all and all manner of claim right and title whatsoever which I the said Polly Booher now have might should or have or of right ought to have or claim of in or out of all and every mesuages lands tenements and hereditaments so as I the said Polly Booher me or my heirs nor any other person or persons in my name hereafter have claim challenge or demand for or by reason or means of any matter clause or thing whatever in witness whereof I have herento set my hand and seal this 6 of November 1853.

Personally appeared before me John C. Rutledge Clerk of the County Court for said County Isaac Peters subscribing witness to the within deed who being first sworn depose and say that he is acquainted with Polly Booher the bargainer and that he saw her sign deed and execute same and Samuel Booher who being sworn depose and says that the signature of Martin Booher the other subscribing witness is genuine and that Polly Booher & Martin Booher have both moved to the state of Kentucky and there reside.

Witness my hand at office in Blountville this 3rd day of July 1854.
