1. Obituary: San Francisco Call: Sudden Death of Mrs. Duckworth on 1 Aug 1899 in San Francisco, San Francisco, CA. 3 Mrs. Lillian E. Duckworth died suddenly last Sunday of heart failure at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Brown, 405 Valencia street. Mrs. Duckworth was the daughter of Charles Underwood, a prominent citizen of Monterey. Her husband, B. E. Duckworth, is a brother of S. J. Duckworth, former chief clerk of the Assembly and well known in political circles. Mrs. Duckworth, whose end was entirely unexpected, leaves a host of friends to mourn her untimely taking off. She will be buried this afternoon from her sister's residence.
