Henry Giles Fritts born 1845 died 1915 married 2 May 1867 Saluda C. Farabee born 1850 died 1927, daughter of Joseph Columbus and Catherine (Swicegood) Farabee. He was an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, a farmer, deputy sheriff and on 17 September 1863 joined the 42nd Regiment and was wounded 2 June 1864 and sent to Danville, Virginia. He returned to service 3 August 1864 and was take prisoner and sent to Fort Monroe, Virginia on Christmas Day 1864, then to Point Lookout until 17 May 1865 when he returned home. Their children were: Joseph Lee (1868) married Martha J. Walser and had 5 children: Mary Kate, Harley F., Willis R., Etta F. and Lena M.; James McDuff "Mack" (1872) married Bertha N. Beeker. He was a farmer in Tyro until 1923 when he moved to Lexington and became a merchant until his death in 1955. Their 8 children: Hugh E., Henry G., Jefferson F., Della, Ernest V., Laura E., Saluda E., and James P. Della Catherine m. 1st Willie Giles and 2nd Charles M. Owens. She had no children. Webster "Web" M. (1877) m. 1st Delia A. Waitman, and had 11 children: Harper C., Willie F., Annie, Mary, Zella, Lizzie, Myrtle, Samuel W., Melba, Beulah and Harvey G. Web married 2nd Jane Swaim. William "Willie" Grover (1883) married Sallie A. Shoaf and had:Julia, Clarence, Lizza, Reuben and Gilmer.
