Dr. George Clark Houghton, of the Church of the Transfiguration. Mrs. Bliss has for some years been actively identified with newspaper work in Brooklyn, and more recently has engaged with success in poultry farming on a place which she rented on the outskirts of Flatbush. The bride was attended by Miss Emma Trapper, of Brooklyn, as maid of honor, and was given away by Dr. Calvin S. May, or Manhattan. Mr. Thomas Watson, of Ayrshire, Scotland, was best man. The groom is said to be nearly related to Lord Charles Beresford. Among the witnesses of the marriage were the bride's sisters, Miss Clair Okie oand Mr. Howard Okie, of Cedarhurst, L. I., the Missies Ambrose, of Flatbush, and Mrs. Lena Louise Kleppisch, of Baltimore. Mr. and Mrs. de la Poer will live at 14 West Thirty-third street.

They had been married 11 years and she had birthed no children. Edward and his parents were born in England. Sara and her father were born in Canada and her mother in England. Edward immigrated in 1892 and became a U.S. citizen. Sara immigrated in 1887.
