Everyone and their parents were born in Indiana, except Harry's father in Germany. Also in the home was a boarder, Robert G. Buck, truck driver on milk route, 21.

ROCHESTER ~ Harry E. Knauff, 79, Rt. 2, Macy, died at 4 p.m. Sunday at his residence.
He was born Oct. 11, 1903, near Deedsville to Henry and Rosanna Deeds Knauff. On Dec. 26, 1924, he was married in Rochester to Audra Grandstaff who preceded him in death March 12,1974.
Knauff was self-employed as a mechanic and operated a service station in Perrysburg for more than 60 years. He had also worked for 26 years as a school bus driver for the Deedsville School System. He was a member of Perrysburg Baptist Church.
Surviving is one daughter, Norrrta Beecher. Rt. 2, Rochester; three sons, Harry E. Jr., Rt. 1, Denver, David L. and Dennis L., both of Rt. 2, Macy; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster and Good Funeral Home with Rev. John W. Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Harry Elvin Knauff was born 11 October 1903 near Deedsville, Indiana. He married Audra V.Grandstaff on 26 December 1924 in Rochester, Indiana. She was born 16 June 1905. She graduated from Chili High School, Chili, Indiana in 1923. Audra died 12 March 1974 of a heart attack followed by a stroke. Harry resided in the Perrysburg area all his life. He owned and operated a service station in Perrysburg for over 60 years and was also a mechanic. He drove a school bus for the Deedsville schools for 26 years. They were members of the Perrysburg Baptist Church. he died 6 March 1983 at his home in Perrysburg following a long illness. They are buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Indiana. Harry and Audra have four children.

1. Norma Jean Kanuff was born 1 March 1929 in Perrysburg. She graduated from Deedsville High School, Deedsville, Indian in 1947. She attended Ball Memorial Nursing School in Muncie, Indiana. She was the Executive Director of the Fulton County Chapter of the American Red Cross in Rochester, Indiana, and she also volunteered as a guardian for individuals with disabilities. She married Harold L. Beecher on 9 July 1950 in Miami County, Indiana.

Harold was born 2 May 1927 to Clinton E. and Grace H. Beecher in Bethlehem Township, Cass County, Indiana. He was the 8th of nine children and graduated in 1945 from Twelve Mile High School, Twelve Mile, Indiana. Harold and Norma Jean, and their family, raised prize-winning Holstein milk cows that were known internationally. One cow, Beecher Arlinda Ellen, set a world record for milk production and was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1975. Ellen died at age 15 in 1984. Harold was a longtime active member of the Indiana State Holstein Association.
