Services tor Dr. Howard Arthurs, former medical examiner for the Pittsburgh Board of Education, will be at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow in the Waples Funeral Home, Baum Boulevard at Graham Street, East End. Dr. Arthurs, 82, died Sunday in Miami, Fla., where he had been ill for several months.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Arthurs was staff physician for Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corp. and the Philadelphia Co. until his retirement in 1944. He worked with the school board for several years after his retirement
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Grace Henderson of Miami; a son, John Baum Arthurs, of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial will be in Allegheny Cemetery.
