Funeral service for George T. Smith, 63, of 403 Holt avenue, Bessemer, who died at 5:30 o'clock Friday morning at St. Leo's hospital after two weeks' illness with heart trouble, was held at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Palm Street Christian church with the pastor, Rev. M. A. Pollard, in charge.
Burial followed in Green Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were J. S. Leonard, J. T. Lowe, W. F. Manson, K. R. Ramsey, O. D. Taylor and C. M. White.
