Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Holloway Funeral Home for Mrs. Annie Cora Truitt Perdue, 77, of Parsonsburg. Mrs. Perdue, wife of Bennie R. Perdue, died Saturday at Peninsula General Hospital after a short illness.
The Rev. Kenneth Dickey will officiate and be assisted by the Rev.. E. S. Perdue. Interment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park.
Mrs. Perdue was a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church at Parsonsburg. She was born at Parsonsburg, and was a daughter of the late Kendall Handy and Mary Ellen Givans Truitt. Her only son, Andrew B. Perdue, was killed while serving in France with the Army in 1945.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Fred Bunting, Ocean City; three granddaughters, Miss Sharon Kay Gibbons, Ocean City, Mrs. Cynthia Jensen, Salisbury, and Mrs. Swazana Joseph, Laurel; one nephew and several nieces.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 9 o'clock.
