She leaves behind five children to remember her fondly, Margaret Gell of Cocoa, Fla., Carol Hollifield of Lawrenceville, Ga., Robert Leach of Salisbury, N.C., Wayne Leach of the home, and Gloria Taylor of Havre de Grace, Md.; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Alice married Jefferson Clarence Beeker Sr., son of Thomas Jefferson Beeker Sr. and Annie M. Leonard, on 28 Sep 1935 in Danville, Danville, VA.¹ The marriage ended in divorce. (Jefferson Clarence Beeker Sr. was born on 25 Mar 1915 in Greensboro, Guilford, NC,^{1 8} died on 2 May 1955 in Rockville, Montgomery, MD ^{8 9} and was buried on 5 May 1955 in Arlington: Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA ⁸.)
