Birth Notes:
The birthdate on his tombstone differs from his baptism record of his birth in the church.
Noted events in his life were:
1. He has conflicting birth information of 14 Oct 1780 and , Lancaster, PA. 2 3 4 The birthdate on his tombstone differs from his baptism record of his birth in the church. We believe the tombstone is worn and too hard to read. The date in his baptism record at the church is more reliable.
2. He has conflicting death information of 3 Dec 1822 and , Sullivan, TN. Numerous researchers report his date of death as 3 Dec 1822 based on a tombstone reading, but we believe the tombstone is worn and hard to read and the correct date is 8 Dec 1872, since his will is dated much later and he appears in later census.
3. Census in 1850 in Subdivision 30, Sullivan, TN. 2 On the same census page are two Booher households. Martin Booher, farmer, 74, was living with Ella, 61; William, 40; Louisa, 33, and Rebecca, 22.
