J. George Jaeger, husband of Carrie Knerr Jaeger, passed away very suddenly on Thursday, March 5, of heart failure, at his late home, 8 Le-Roy Place, Lynnbrock, Long Island.
He is survived by his widow, and one daughter, Hilda Magdaline, two brothers and two sisters.
Death came while apparently in good health, he having returned from his place of business, and at the time was playing with his only daughter, and was in the act of reaching for a chair on which to sit.
Services were conducted at his late home on Sunday by Rev. Hammer. Mr. Jaeger was formerly employed by the International Motor Co., at the Allentown plant, and was a member of "Phil Sheridan Council, T. O. S. of A." of this city.
Mrs. Ray Y. Mohr, Mrs. F. H. Bury and Mrs. Eugene Miller, sisters of Mrs. Jaeger, accompanied by Ray Mohr and F. H. Bury, attended the funeral.


Jacob married Carrie Sarah Amanda Knerr, daughter of Elias Henry Knerr and Sarah Isabella Diehl, about 1914. (Carrie Sarah Amanda Knerr was born on 18 Jan 1881 in Weidasville, Lehigh, PA 7 8 and died on 24 Nov 1971 in Easton, Northampton, PA 2 8.)
