Kathryn was a resident of Bensalem for 46 years. She had previously resided in Newportville. Kathryn was the first radio operator for the Newport Fire Co.
She was a manager for F.W. Woolworth at Neshaminy Mall for 15 years.
Kathryn was the wife of the late Ron Beecher. She was the loving mother of Brian Beecher and his fiancée, Bridget, and Mark Beecher and his wife, Cheryl Snyder, all of Bensalem. She also is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Deseree, Amanda, and Matthew; her sister, Elsie Bowen of Newportville; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited at call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where a memorial service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Newport Fire Co., P.O. Box 778, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Kathryn married Leon Ronald Beecher, son of Irene G. Beecher and Rose Anna Shemeley, on 29 Sep 1962 in Newportville, Bucks, PA.¹ (Leon Ronald Beecher was born on 8 Mar 1941 in Abington, Montgomery, PA ^{5 6 7} and died on 13 Feb 1990 in , Bucks, PA ⁵.)
