Born, July 7, 1962, in York, he was the son of the late Harold O. and Pauline Louise (Myers) Grube. Scott was a Realtor in the York area since 1983. He got his start in Real Estate with Coldwell Banker Bob Yost and most recently was employed as a Realtor with Century 21 Dale Realty Co. He was a 1980 graduate of Central York High School, a member of the Realtors Association of York and Adams County, an avid sailor and member of the Susquehanna Yacht Club, a member of the Rooster Club, the Prince Athletic Association, and various other clubs throughout the York area. Scott is survived by his son, Andrew Grube of York; aunts and uncles, Edna Repman, Robert Grube, Charlotte Miller, Doris Lerew, and Harry Grubea; a niece, Jodi Strocko; and cousins, Sharon Whiteley, Vicki Giuffrida, Timothy Grube, Lisa Marchuska, Sharon Miller, Kurt Miller, Mark Vanasdale, Jim Vanasdale, Lori Shaulis, Janice Pressel, Steve Dubs, Cindy Laucks, Ken Grube, Pattie Rhineholt, and Beth Grube. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Grube. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Yacht Club, 1730 Long Level Road, Wrightsville, PA 17368; or to the National Maritime Heritage Foundation, 236 Massachusetts Ave. NE, Suite 410, Washington, DC 20002.
