1. Newspaper: Lexington Leader: Injuries Kill Young Cyclist, 21 Aug 1981, Lexington, Fayette, KY. ² A 16-year old Lexinigton boy died early today from injuries received in a motorcycle accident on Lakeshore Drive.
James L. Beeker, of 969 Turkey Foot Road, was the victim.
Police said he was riding a 1977 Kawasaki about 2:15 a.m., when the motorcycle left the street and struck a tree at 401 Lakeshore Drive.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce L. and Ann Rallo Beeker; two brothers, Stephen M. and David B. Beeker.
The body was take to Milwards Funeral Home on Southland Drive. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday.
