Census in 1880 in , Johnson, TX, USA. 3 The 1880 census recorded in Precinct 7: Jackson Jelt [sic, indexed wrong due to poor handwriting which is Jett], farmer, 47, living with wife Agatha [as indexed, but handwriting is not very readable], 38; Belle, 18; Fannie, 14; Thomas, 11; Louise, 8; Eliza, 6. Also Luck Jelt, 26, with his son Henry, 2; James Reed, 23; and William West, 23. Everyone was born in Georgia except Fannie and thomas in Alabama. Jackson's parents were born in South Carolina.
