Mrs. Beecher came to Carversville in the early 1950s and moved to Plumsteadville in 1958.

She was employed many years ago at the Doylestown Acme.

Mrs. Beecher enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.

Surviving are two sons: Harold E. Beecher of Plumsteadville and Charles B. Beecher, and his wife Carol of Sellersville; a daughter, Ann Beecher of Quakertown; a granddaughter, Sarah Beecher of Sellersville; three brothers: George Jones of Houtzdale, Benjamin Jones of Fountainville and Bruce Jones of Perkasie; and four sisters: Doris Beck of Wellsville; Aldona Burkholder of Homestead, Fla.; Naomi Dunlap of Tyrone, and Elaine Stremmel of East Berlin.

Funeral services were held this morning (Wednesday) at the Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, Doylestown. Interment was in Carversville Cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
