Lafser of Sparks died in a Reno hospital Tuesday. He was born Feb. 14, 1918 in Missouri and came to Sparks 10 months ago from Grass Valley, Calif. Lafser was a sergeant in the Air Force in World War II. He is survived by a sister, Lillian Lafser of St. Louis. Mo. A military service will be held at Sawtelle National Cemetery in West Los Angeles next Friday. Henry married Mary Jane Black, daughter of Harold Pollard Black and Leona Rittenhouse, on 1 Oct 1948 in Carson City, Carson City, NV, USA.1 The marriage ended in divorce. (Mary Jane Black was born on 23 Aug 1912 in Roswell, Chaves, NM 5 and died on 9 Oct 1986 in Spokane, Spokane, WA 6.) |
