Mr. Lawson was a Navy veteran of the Spanish-American War and served 14 years as a chief boatswain's mate. He also served in the merchant marine. Surviving are three sons, Oliver, Robert and Frank, Jr.; two brothers, Lt. Cmdr. Raymond S. (retired), and Kendall. Services will be held at 1 P. M. Tuesday from the Harold B. Mulligan funeral parlors, 1119 W.Lehigh ave. Burial will be in Bellmawr, N. J.
