[Research note: since Buren Larson and Oliver Larson both married a daughter of George and Ann Harley, and both Buren and Oliver are buried in the same cemetery, and Susanna Harley who married Oliver Larson is living in Buren Larson's household in the 1860 census, therefore, by the account in this book, it suggests they are brothers even though Oliver is buried with surname Lawson, not Larson, in the cemetery. It is possible Lawson and Larson are not their original Norwegian surnames, but their Americanizations of their original homeland surname, which could explain how they ended up with slightly different spellings?.
