Daw, Jr., 53, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital in Towson after a sudden illness. Rick was a devoted father to Dr. Jessica Daw, 23, and Sarah Daw, 21, and husband to Jane Daw, together for 33 years. He was the son of Richard W. Daw, Sr. and the late Wanda (Wisnlewski) Daw, and sibling to Donna (Daw) Felling and John Daw, all of Baltimore County, Maryland. Rick graduated from Archbishop Curly ('69), earned a college degree, and completed a four-year electrical apprenticeship. He excelled in his career of 28 years at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Baltimore, Maryland, leaving numerous close friendships. Rick had also volunteered for the youth organizations in the community. He will be greatly missed and there will be a deep void In our lives without him. May God go with him and may he rest in peace. Viewing will be 4 to 6 p.m. today and Sunday at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom, PA. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 am, Monday, August 16 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Richard married Jane Frances Beeker, daughter of Charles Wilbur Beeker and Ruth Schmitt, in 1971.¹ (Jane Frances Beeker was born on 20 Feb 1955 in Baltimore, Baltimore, MD ⁷.)
