Census in 1930 in Ecorse, Wayne, MI. 6 The 1930 census recorded owning a $4000 home at 18560 Hanna Avenue: Jack Felicijan, stock chaser in auto factory, 31, living with wife Mary, 22, and son Jack J., 5 months old. Jack was married at age 27 and Mary 18. Jack, his parents, and Mary's parents were born in Yugoslavia. Mary and Jack J. were born in Michigan. Jack immigrated in 1921.

2. Census in 1940 in Melvindale, Wayne, MI. 7 The 1940 census recorded owning a $6000 home at 18560 Hannah Street: Mary Felicijan, no occupation, 32, living with her children: Jack, 10; Elizabeth, 9; and Elmer, 6. Everyone was born in Michigan and they lived in the same place in 1935.

Everyone was born in Michigan.

6. Obituary: The Wenatchee World: obituary of Mary Beher on 15 Jun 2004 in Wenatchee, Chelan, WA. 2 Mary Beher passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Tonasket, Washington. She was residing at the North Valley Nursing Home. Mary was born July 20, 1907 to parents, John and Johanna Iller in Calument, Michigan. She was the oldest of 8 children. She and her family moved to Dearborn, Michigan when she was 14. Mary was proud of the fact that as a young girl she worked in the Ford factory cafeteria. Telling all about "Henry Ford" and how he came through the line to be served with the workers. Later she worked as a milliner in Detroit designing and sewing women's hats. This is where she developed her skill in sewing, a skill that gave her pleasure though out her life. Mary loved to knit, crochet, and sew. In 1925, she married Jacob Felicijan and they had 3 children. She lost her husband in the mid 1930s and during the 2nd World War, she went to work in a defense factory to support her family, as a single parent. In 1945, she married Sherman Beher and with her children moved to Sunnyside, Washington, where they operated a small farm. In 1953, she moved to California where she lived until her husband retired from Douglas aircraft in 1966. They bought a trailer and toured the Country, spending much time in Mexico. In the late 70s they moved back to
Washington, finally ending up in Tonasket, to be near her
daughter, in 1979. Mary was a member of the Catholic Church, a past member of the Tonasket Senior Citizens, and the Wauconda Sewing Club. Her loving smile and keen sense of humor will be missed by all. She is survived by 2 sisters in Michigan; 1 Daughter, Betty (Felicijan) Kelley of Tonasket; 15 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman, in 1982; 2 sons, Jack Felicijan in 1997 and Elmer Felicijan in 1999 and also a grandson, Michael Kelley in 1957. By her request she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Bergh Funeral Service Oroville is in care of arrangements.


Mary married Sherman Allen Beher, son of Samuel Isaac Beher and Mary May Bowlin, on 21 Jun 1944 in Napoleon, Henry, OH.1 (Sherman Allen Beher was born on 27 Feb 1905 in Elwood, Madison, IN 1 10 and died on 18 Aug 1981 in Tonasket, Okanogan, WA 11 12.)


Mary next married Jacob Jack Felicijan on 8 Aug 1925 in , Wayne, MI.2 3 The marriage ended in divorce on 20 Dec 1943. (Jacob Jack Felicijan was born on 30 May 1898 in Nazarje, , , SVN 13 and died on 27 Apr 1991 in Highland Park, Wayne, MI 13.)
