Beck Chapel was the setting Saturday evening for the exchange of wedding vows between Miss Gllberta Regina Grammer and Emmet Richard Becker, III. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Verlinda Grammer, 752 S. Walnut St., Bloomington, and Mr. Gilbert Grammer, Lafayette. Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Richard Becker, Jr., R. 10, Bloomington, are parents of the bridegroom. Officiating the double ring ceremony was the Rev. William E. Hughes. Miss Theodotia Hartman provided musical accompaniment. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Verdie McMillan, Crawfordsville. Carrying a single long stemmed white rose, the bride appeared in an empire waisted, floor length gown of white velvet, which was made by her aunt, Mrs. Verdie McMillan. Seed pearls adorned the empire bodice, stand-up collar and Bishop sleeves. The back of the gown fell into a full length train. A white velvet bow secured her floor length silk illusion veil. Mrs. Michael F. Koch, Bloomington, acted as matron of honor. She wore a floor length gown of light pink crepe with a stand-up collar, Bishop sleeves, ruffled hemline and deep plum velvet pinafore. She carried a single pink long-stemmed rose. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Charles Dean Beeker, Bloomington. Guests were seated by Michael Roll, Bloomington. A 1968 Bloomington High School graduate, the bride is a senior at Indiana University, with a major in elementary education. She is a member of the IU Student Foundation. A 1965 University High School graduate, the bridegroom served three years in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot. He is an IU senior, majoring in math. The couple will make their home at 914 S. Henderson St., Bloomington.
