Obituary: Messenger-Inquirer: obituary of Mary Thelma Snyder on 17 Aug 1963 in Owensboro, Daviess, KY, USA. ¹ Mrs. Mary Thelma Snyder, 57, of St. Joseph, died at 8:20 a.m. Friday, at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital following a long illness. She was born at St. Joseph, Feb. 23, 1906, and had lived there all her life. Mrs. Snyder was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She is survived by her husband, Wathen Snyder; two sons, Herbert Snyder of Owensboro, Joe Snyder, Route 3, Owensboro; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Knight of Owensboro, Mrs. Ned Beeker, Indianapolis, and Mrs. R. L. Dodson of Detroit; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Gilmore Clark of Owensboro, and one sister, Mrs. Clifford Riney of West Louisville. WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church by the Rev. Frank Ward, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home. The body is at the funeral home.
