SALISBURY - Leroy R. Hall, 100, of Salisbury died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born in Greene County, Ind., he was the son of the late Kinsey Elsworth Hall and Retta Mae Crecelius Hall. He worked for Equitable Life Insurance Co. in Long Island, N.Y., for many years, retiring in 1968 as an insurance underwriter. He was a member of Pine Shores Presbyterian Church in Sarasota, Fla. He was well loved and respected by his family and friends and was also known as a good golfer. He is survived by a son, Robert and his wife, Lindy, of Salisbury; six grandchildren, Dana Williams and her husband, Chris, of Denton, Dona Hall of Annapolis, Joshua Hall and his wife, Ashley, of Martinez, Ga., Joseph Hall of Charlottesville, Va., Christy Robinson and her husband, Lynn, of Arlington, Va., and Noah Hall and his wife, Katie, of Bethesda, Md.; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Hall, in 2003; three brothers; and a sister. A memorial service will be held at Providence Presbyterian Church at a later date. The Rev. Jason Shelton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Providence Presbyterian Church, 311 Parker Road, Salisbury, Md. 21801; or the charity of your choice.
