BROOKSTON -- Mrs. Clara Sterrett, 78, died at 7:50 .p. m. Monday in the home of a son, Chester Sterrett of near Battle Ground. She had been ill since January. Born in Tippecanoe county, she spent most of her life on a farm near Battle Ground. She was married in 1894 to - Sumner J. Sterrett who died in 1952. Surviving are six sons, Floyd of Camden, Leonard of Lafayette, Elva of Brookston, Lowell of Reynolds, Orville of Monticello, and Chester of Battle Ground; a sister, Mrs. Lora Gwin of Peru, and a brother, Luther McKinley of Napoleon, O.
