MOBRIDGE -- Clarice "Mickie" Slocum, 78, died Friday, Feb. 25, 1994, in the Mobridge Rest Home. Clarice Mikelson was born Nov. 4, 1915. She graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls. She worked for Montgomery Wards in Sioux Falls and transfered to Santa Ana, Calif. She later lived in Flagstaff and Cottonwood, Ariz. She married LeRoy Slocum. After her husband's death, she returned to Mobridge. Survivors include two brothers and several nieces and nephews.


Clarice married Leroy Daniel Slocum, son of Guy Roy Slocum and Valdine Naldina Magdalene Moger, on 16 Jul 1937 in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha, SD. (Leroy Daniel Slocum was born on 5 Oct 1916 in Lewistown, Fergus, MT, USA 2 and died on 5 Oct 1988 in Cottonwood: Cottonwood Cemetery, Yavapai, AZ 2 3.)
