Vows exchanged at double-ring ceremony
LACROSSE - Julia Ann Beecher and Russell Alan Dommermuth were united in marriage during a double-ring , ceremony conducted by the Rev. Lee Emerson on June 19 at United Methodist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beecher of LaCrosse and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Dommermuth of Valparaiso. For her wedding day, the bride chose a white chiffon gown with a Queen Ann neckline and sweetheart collar etched with re-embroidered lace and seed pearls. Bishop sleeves were cuffed of the same lace. Her chapel-length train and veil were made of silk. Matron of honor was Cindy Hott of Winamac, Ind. Bridesmaids were Kathy Beecher, sister-in-law of the bride, Sabrina Marquart, both of Wanatah, Karen Beecher of LaCrosse, sister-in-law of the bride, and Holly Wright of Hammond, cousin of the bride. Kelly Lansdown of Wanatah was the flower girl. Bill Dommermuth of Pittsburgh, Pa., brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Lansdowne of Wanatah, Terry Beecher of LaCrosse, Bruce Beecher of Wanatah, both brothers of the bride, and Mike Dommermuth of Bloomington, Ind., brother of the groom. Jason Beecher of LaCrosse, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. A reception followed the ceremony at Sacred Heart Hall, Wanatah. The new Mrs. Dommermuth was graduated from LaCrosse High School. She is employed at Kaiser Aluminum. Her husband, a graduate of Valparaiso High School, is attending Indiana Vocational Technical College. He is employed at Save More. Following a wedding trip to Las Vegas and Mackinac Island, the couple is residing in Valparaiso.
