2. Census in 1860 in Port Carbon, Schuylkill, PA. 5 The 1860 census recorded George Hean, stone mason, 45, living with wife Chity, 51, and Peter Hean, laborer, 18; Adaline Hean, 16; Charles Hean, 16; Annah Hean, 15; and Louina Hean, 8. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. The post office was Port Carbon.

3. Census in 1870 in Port Carbon, Schuylkill, PA. 6 The 1870 census recorded George Hanes, stone mason, 53, living with wife Julia, 58; son Peter, 26; son Charles, 26; and daugher Eva, 19. Also in the home is George's daughter Sarah, 27, with her husband William Stephenson, miner, 28, and their children: George Stephenson, 8; and Thomas Stephenson, 6. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. The post office was Minersville.

Census in 1880 in Port Carbon, Schuylkill, PA. 7 The 1880 census recorded George Nain [sic, indexed wrong due to poor handwriting in census image], stone mason, 63, living with wife Judy, 69; son Peter, 38, single, who has "no occupation" with disease column reporting "consumption", an old term pertaining to a wasting away of the body usually due to tuberculosis, and his column checked for "maimed, crippled, bedridden or disabled". Also in the home is servant Alice Martin, 17. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylania.

Fact: Death Record in Schuylkill County, 10 Aug 1895, Port Carbon, Schuylkill, PA. 1 Death Record: Film #007611459 on FamilySearch.org contains "Schuylkill County, PA Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphan's Court - Death Register ,Part 1, Pages 1-250, 1893-1898" volume. On page 113 is recorded:
