The bride is the daughter of Donald and Katherine Speck of Huntingdon. The bridegroom is the son of Carl and Nancy Granlund of Alexandria. The Reverend James Speelman officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
The wedding music was provided by Kenneth Rose and by Michael Speck and by Lowell Burket, who played the trumpet. The bride's gown was made of satin with an overlay of Italian lace accented with seed and dropped pearls. It had a high collar and fingertipped lace long aveat of economy is difficult to sleeves. The ushers were Robert Reihart of Alexandria, Michael Speck of Reading, James Foster of Alexandria, and Michael Bevacoua of Johnsonburg, all friends of the groom.
The flower girl was Whitney Kimmel, a friend of the bride from Warriors Mark. The ring bearer was cousin of the bride Aaron Geis, of Virginia Beach, Va. The bride was a 1985 graduate of the Huntingdon Area high School. She is currently employed as an Associate Agent of the James P. Kimmcl Insurance Agency in Tyrone.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the Juniata Valley High School Class of 1984 and is a 1988 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. He is currently employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. The couple's wedding reception was held at the Smithfield Fire Hall. Their honeymoon was spent in the Poconos.
