Census in 1940 in Fort Wayne, Allen, IN. ⁵ The 1940 census recorded renting a home for $25 a month at 133 St. Joe Road: Joseph Bucher, 41, assembler truck manufacturing, living with Nora, 37; Paul, 18; Cora, 16; and Carol Joan, 3. Joseph, Nora and Paul were born in Ohio, and Cora and Carol in Indiana. In 1935 they lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was a 1942 graduate of Leo High School, Leo, Indiana.

On February 7, 1953 she was united in marriage to Derrill Kline.

Cora worked at GE in Ft. Wayne, Indiana until her marriage.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hicksville, where she was a children's Sunday school teacher and a choir member. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Cora is survived by her husband Derrill, two sons - Dr. Mike (Laura) of Maplewood, Ohio, Jim (Suzy) of Hicksville; a daughter Joan (Greg) Garmyn of Hicksville; a sister Carole (Guy) Bookout of Ft Wayne, Indiana; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Paul Bucher.

Funeral services for Cora will be Tuesday at 10:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville with Pastor Jim Spears officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-7:00 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Six Corners Cemetery, Hicksville.

Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Ronald McDonald House.
