Born in Manhattan, N.Y., he was a son of the late William and Adine Mary (Claes) Lancaster. He was a stepson of the late John J. Bergenback. He was an Army veteran of the Pacific Theater of World War II. He was a member of the Fleas Inc., Easton. Survivors: Sons, William J. Jr. of Baltimore, Frederick W. Sr. and Stephen M. Sr., both of Palmer Township; daughter, Adine K. Beeker of Warminster; half sister, Marie Mackerer of Palmer Township; stepsister, Irene Bergenback in North Carolina; stepbrother, Joseph Bergenback of Baltimore; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services: Noon Friday, Morello Funeral Home, 12th and Lehigh streets, Easton. Call 10 a.m. to noon Friday.
