He was bom Nov. 10, 1952, at Cheyenne, Wyo., and moved to Norwalk, Calif., with his family when he was a year old. He attended Norwalk Public Schools and graduated from Norwalk High School with the class of 1970. He worked in California for a few years and later moved to Nebraska where he worked for Reinke Pivots in Deshler for a few years. Currently he was employed by the Saline County Road Department, where he worked with the bridge crew. Survivors: mother and stepfather, Martha E. and Paul Rhynalds of Western; sister, Martha Ann Beecher and husband Mike of Corona, Calif.; nieces, Lori and Elizabeth Beecher; fiancee, Katherine Tachovsky of Western; stepsisters, Paula Partsch and husband Frank of Omaha, and Mona Rhynalds of Hastings; stepnieces, Sarah and Catherine Partsch; aunt, Velma Peters of Western. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul B. Rush, Oct. 18, 1987. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, July 12, St. John's United Church of Christ, Western, the Rev. Dale Coakley officiating. Burial: Plainview Cemetery, Western. Visitation before service at the church. Memorials to the family with funeral home in charge. Zajicek Funeral Home, Western.
