REEDSPORT \endash Funeral services for Raymond LeRoy Gagnon, 76, Florence, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Unger Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Errol Ford of the United Presbyterian Church of Reedsport officiating. The American Legion will serve as honor guard. Interment will follow in the Eagle Point National Cemetery, White City. He was born June 14, 1913, in Seibert, Colo., and Oct. 13, 1989, in Eugene. Mr. Gagnon was a longtime owner of Annes Garden Nursery in Coos Bay. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 361st Infantry. He earned medals for marksmanship, Medal of Good Conduct, Purple Heart, and Bronze Star. He was a member of the Coos Bay Eagles. Survivors include his wife, Eileen Lowe Gagnon of Florence; stepsons, Clint Lowe and Rick Lowe, both of Florence; stepdaughters, Rita Johnson and Linda Brog, both of Florence and Lucille Holland of Harrisburg; 13 grandchildren and one great grandson. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Unger Funeral Home, Reedsport.

Obituary: The Register: Obituary of Clinton Tom Lowe on 29 Aug 2007 in Saint Helens, Columbia, OR, USA. 4 Clinton Tom Lowe of Dexter, OR passed away Aug. 24th, 2007 in the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene, OR due to cancer, at the age of 80. Tom was the only son born to Jesse and Stella Lowe of Toledo, WA. He was born at Forest, WA, one year later moving to Toledo with his family where he was raised and attended schools.
He worked as a "flagger" for log truck drivers when younger and waiting to be old enough to drive one himself. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in May 1945 and was discharged in Dec. of 1946, serving at Fort Ord, CA and Puerto Rico.
Upon discharge, he met and married Eileen Losey of Toledo in 1947. They lived in Toledo and Longview. In Longview, he worked at Longbell Lumber Co. They later moved to Oregon to become the log truck driver that he wanted.
He later became a gravel truck driver until his retirement.
They divorced in the 70's and he married Rita Roman in 1980, who survives him at home in Dexter, OR.
Besides his wife, he is survived by five children: Clinton of Florence, OR, Lucille Holland, Harrisburg, OR, Rita (Ken) Johnson of Monroe, OR, Rick (Michi) Lowe of Florence, OR and Linda Brog of Coos Bay, OR. Also, six step-children: Debra Kosak of Creswell, OR, Steve (Peggy) Romane, Hubbard, OR, Kenny Romane, Valdez, AK, Lee Romane, Wrangell, AK, Patty Romane, Lebanon, OR and Shari Romane, Creswell, OR. He has 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Also 3 sisters: Maxine Withrow of Springfield, OR, Bummy (Herb) Yantis of Chehalis, WA and Pat Bibeau of Centralia, WA; a mother-in-law Goldie Meyer of Dexter, Or and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, four sisters and two grandsons.
Services will be held Sat., Sept. 1st, 2:00 p.m. at Firlawn Chapel in Toledo. Reception following.
