FIORITO, 37, of 56 Rawlings Drive, Pigeon Run, Bear, died Thursday of complications from lupus at Christiana Hospital, where she was a patient. Miss Fiorito received her doctorate in psychology on Nov. 9 from University of Delaware. In 1977, she received her bachelor's degree from Virginia Poly-technical Institute, and her master's degree in psychology in 1983 from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Term. She was a member of Society for Psycho-Physiological Research, a national organization, and a founding member and vice president of Pigeon Run Civic Association. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Jon L. Howell; her father, Edmund Fiorito of Lynchburg, Va.; two brothers, David of Chicago and Steven of Lynchburg; and two sisters, Eleanor Fiorito of Philadelphia and Teresa Mace of Lynchburg. Her mother, Marion R. Fiorito of Lynchburg, died Sept. 28. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 245 Bear-Christiana Road, near Newark. Entombment will be Monday in Virginia Memorial Park, Lynchburg. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Evelyn M. Fiorito scholarship fund, in care of Univeristy of Delaware Psychology Department, Newark.
