4. Cause of Death: evidently caused by a heart attack, 3 Feb 1927, Saint Clair, Schuylkill, PA. 5

Obituary: Standard-Speaker on 5 Feb 1927 in Hazleton, Luzerne, PA, United States. 8 Samuel Horrox, aged 84, died on Thursday at 11 p. m., at his home in St. Clair following an illness of some time due to advanced years. Mr. Horrox formerly resided at Jeddo where he was employed in the mines and located in St. Clair 20 years ago. Besides his widow, three children survive. They are all of St. Clair.
Mrs. Emma Mather, ol Jeddo, is a surviving sister. A brother, Henry Horrox of Jeddo, died a year ago. Funeral services will be held at the residence in St. Clair Monday morning and the cortege will proceed to Freeland, arriving between 1 and 2 o'clock.
Burial will be made in the Freeland cemetery.


Samuel married Martha Riley. (Martha Riley was born in 1854 in England,9 died in 1930 9 and was buried in Freeland, Luzerne, PA 9.)
