1. Obituary: Journal and Courier: obituary of Russell E. Kraay on 12 Jun 1984 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe, IN, USA. ¹ Russell E. Kraay, 61, of Reynolds, died unexpectedly at 3:55 p.m. Monday in White County Memorial Hospital. Born in Hammond in 1922, he had lived in White County most of his life, and came to Reynolds 14 years ago. In 1942 he was married to Stella Musser, who survives. Mr. Kraay was a farmer and truck driver for several years. He was last employed as a shop foreman for state highway garage in Monticello. He was a member of Reynolds Lutheran Church. Surviving with the widow are a son, Kenneth L. Kraay of Anderson; one daughter, Mrs. Jan (Shirley) Rose of Reynolds; and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Carolyn) Jones of Monticello.
