O'Leary, 43; daughter Mary J. [nee Brendlinger], 28; grandson Paul L., 7; and granddaughter Kerry A., 2 weeks old on 4/26/1950 when the census record was recorded. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. 2. Obituary: Intelligencer Journal: obituary of Paul M. O'Leary on 20 Jun 1966 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. 2 Paul M. O'Leary, seventy, 13 S. 10th St, Reading, died Saturday evening in Reading Hospital of a heart attack. In 1962, he owned and operated Paul's Luncheonette, 601 N. Lime St., city. He was a former manager of the Schulte and Huyler store, Reading, and at the time of his death was a counterman at Moore's Diner, Reading. Surviving are his widow, the former Myrtle Rhoades; two children [note: by his first wife Mary Jane Brendlinger], Paul L. and Kerry O'Leary, Reading; two step children, James McCoy and Mrs. Verna Nye, Springfield, Mass., and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, John, Reading; Joseph and George, Phoenixville. Paul married Mary Jane Brendlinger, daughter of Leo H. Brendlinger and Edna Whitman Beecher. (Mary Jane Brendlinger was born on 6 Jun 1922 in Pottstown, Montgomery, PA,1 died on 26 Dec 2013 in Reading, Berks, PA 1 and was buried in Sinking Spring, Berks, PA.) |
