Moyer on 17 Sep 1998 in Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. ² Ammon Paul Moyer, 72, of 100 Maplewood Drive, Amity Township, died Monday at 2:15 p.m. in Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he had been a patient 112 weeks. He was the husband of Beatrice M. (Anderson) Moyer. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Ammon M. and Julia (Warner) Moyer. Moyer was employed 35 years as a final inspector by the former Firestone Tire & Rubber Co., now Bridgestone/Firestone, at its former Pottstown plant, retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Douglassville. Moyer was a Navy veteran of World War II. He is also survived by a son, Paul, and a daughter, Susan M. (Moyer) Washington, both of Reading; and two stepdaughters: Gloria J. (Smith) Paules, Douglassville, and Gail M. (Smith) Orner, Amity Township.
Other survivors include two brothers, Henry, Pottstown, and Raymond, Fort Myers, Fla.; and two sisters: Elaine (Moyer) Slusser, Mohnton, and Julia (Moyer) Pitcherello, Temple. There are also five grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six step- great-grandchildren. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Dengler Funeral Home Inc., Birdsboro. Burial will be in Lobachsville Cemetery.

Ammon married Betty Marie Klopp, daughter of Frank Reuben Klopp Jr. and Rachel Ella Bicher, on 17 Jul 1944 in Pasquotank, Pasquotank, NC.¹ (Betty Marie Klopp was born on 9 Jan 1926 in , , Pennsylvania, USA,^{3 4} died on 6 Feb 2012 in Spring Twp., Berks, PA ^{4 5} and was buried in Anville: Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Lebanon, PA ⁴.)
