The bride was dressed in light blue lace with toast-colored accessories and wore a large leghorn hat trimmed in the same toast shade. She carried a colonial bouquet of talisman roses. Miss Diana M. Grethel of Medford avenue, Patchogue, was maid-of-honor for her cousin. She was attired in a light pink dress, a pink flower headdress, and white accessories. Her colonial bouquet was of yellow roses. Paul R. Wagner of Patchogue was best man. The mother of the bride wore a blue print dress, and the mother of the bridegroom wore a gray print. Both bail pink chrysanthemums. A dinner for the bridal party was given at Frank Friede's, Smithtown. A lawn party followed at the home of the bridegroom in Holtsville . A large table was decorated in bridal white, with streamers, wedding bells and a three-tiered wedding cake. Mr. and Mrs. Beechert, who are making their home on East Main street, Patchogue, will take a trip to New Orleans, La., in September. The bride is employed by the New York Telephone company, and the bridegroom at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton.
