Mr. Choate, who died Friday, lived at 25 McCarey Street, Highland Gardens, Chester, Pa. He moved there eight years ago from Maryland.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Daisy Choate; his mother, Mrs. Ellen Dell, Galax, Va.; four sons, Purr Lee Choate, Jr., Baltimore; Charles W. Choate, Chester; Thomas T. Choate, Norwich, Conn., and Richard P. Choate, Chester; four daughters, Mrs. Amelia King, Washington; Mrs. Oleita Wells, College Park, Md.; Mrs. Clara Strickland, Wilmington, and Mrs. Martha Jane Kay, Chester; six brothers, Click Choate, Sugar Grove, Pa.; Lott, Seth, William T. Choate, Galex; Rue Choate, California, and Daniel Choate, Richmond, Va., and three sisters, Mrs. Treva Collins, Los Angeles; Mrs. Iva Catan, Independence, Va., and Mrs. Myrtle Meek, Sugar Grove.

Purr married Daisy Lee Beeker, daughter of Charles Turner Beeker and Lula Etta Miller, on 13 Nov 1913 in , Alleghany, NC, USA.^{1 2} (Daisy Lee Beeker was born on 19 Dec 1895 in , Rowan, NC,^{4 6 7} died on 15 Feb 1962 in Upland, Delaware, PA ^{4 7} and was buried on 18 Feb 1962 in Delta, York, PA, USA ^{4 7}.)
