1. Obituary: Obituary of Peggy Ann Ingram Daily on 23 Jan 2021 in Lake Mary, Seminole, FL. 3 Peggy Ann Ingram Dailey, age 80, of Lake Mary, Florida passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 23, 2021 after a six-year battle against ovarian cancer. Born April 1, 1940, in Nocona, Texas, Peggy spent her formative years in Denison, Texas where she attended St. Xavier Academy. She was active in the school choir and was an exceptional pianist. Peggy met the love of her life, a young Air Force airman from Philadelphia, when she was just 16. She and Walt married two years later and had 62 devoted years of marriage, living in Texas, California, back to Texas, up to Virginia and finally to Lake Mary where they enjoyed the Florida sunshine together for 39 years.
Peggy was the most loving and devoted mother to her five children, Nana to her seven grandchildren and a guardian angel to the many dogs in her life. In between baseball, football, basketball and soccer games, piano recitals, dance performances, choir and orchestra concerts, not to mention frequent visits to the emergency room for stitches, broken arms and tetanus shots, she was never too busy to provide the cookies for a bake sale, teach CCE classes, work the election polls, sew costumes and prom dresses. After raising her five children, rather than take a much-deserved rest, she went back to school, graduating with honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities and a minor in Business from the University of Central Florida.
Peggy had careers in the real estate appraisal business, and in the Special Assets Division of Barnett Bank. When her husband Walt formed his company, Dailey Management Systems, Inc., Peggy took the helm in the chief financial role for his business, running the same tight ship with the business as she did with her home.
Peggy was an active member of the Annunciation Council of Catholic Women, the Lake Mary Women's Club, and the Messiah Choral Society - these organizations provided Peggy with lasting friendships that she cherished greatly. Peggy also served as a Eucharistic Minister and sang in the choir at Annunciation Catholic Church.
Peggy is pre-deceased by her loving parents Charles & Cecilia Ingram, her brothers John and Ronald and her sister Terry Stevens. She is survived by her husband Walt and her five children; son Patrick and wife Patty, daughter Kathleen and husband Fritz Breland, son Shaun and wife Michelle, son Daniel, and son Colin and wife Cindy and by her seven grandchildren; Cecilia, Aidan, Madelyn, Matthew, Megan, Shelby and Macy.
