Next door is Nathan's future wife, Mary Feeney, 42, living with son Richard, 20, Catherine 16, and Thomas 7, and also Emma Kline, 1. All were born in Pennsylvania.

2. Census in 1880 in Richmond Twp., Berks, PA. ⁴ The 1880 census recorded Nathan Kline, shoemaker, 55, living with wife Mary, 52; Emma Susan, 11; Rachel, 8, and Nathan's mother, Mary, 86. Also in the home is stepson Thomas Feeny, works on farm, 17. Living next door is George Beechert, 69, who is Mary's brother. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

3. Obituary: Reading Eagle: obituary of Nathan Kline on 5 May 1890 in Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. ⁵ KLINE -- In Fleetwood, on the 3d inst., Nathan Kline, aged 60 years. The relatives and friends of the deceased are respectively invited to attend the funeral from the late residence in Fleetwood, on Thursday monring at 9.30 o'clock. Services at the house by Rev. M. H. Brensinger. Interment at the old church cemetery.
