Frescoln, of this city, will be married today at the former place to Miss Sallie H. Grander by Rev. Geo. Mellotte. The wedding will be private and on Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Flemming will visit Reading. The groom is one of the stockholders in the Royersford Foundry Company.

Flemming, formerly of this city, was married last Tuesday to Sallie Grander, daughter ot Fredenck Grander, of Royersford. On Saturday evening the couple were tendered a surprise reception at the residence of Mr. Flemming's stepfather, Thomas W. Frescoln, 320 Church street. Among others present were: Eugene Flemming and daughter Julia. and sons Louis and Francis; Mrs. Ida Neuderffer; Augustus Knabb and wife and daughter Rosa: Mr. and Mrs. Christ Weidnaur: Samuel W. Frescoln, Jr.; Misses Maud and Edith Frescoln; Dr. Fred. Grander and wife; Horace Grander and wife and daughter Edna; Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Ely; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bennethum; Mrs. Bert Grim; Miss Bertha Mittower; Miss Laura B. Embich, of Lebanon; Mr. John M. Kaley, of Lebanon; Harry G. Miller; Misses Witman. Vocal and instumental music was rendered on the piano by Harry G. Miller. Miss Bertha Mittower, Misses Maggie, Maud and Edith Frescoln, Samuel W. Frescoln, Jr., and Thomas W. Frescoln. Among the presents were a fine water service, lemonade set, silver service, table linen, and cutlery, counterpanes, and many other useful things. Refreshments were served and a pleasant time was enjoyed by all present.

Also in the home is David's mother, Kate, 63, and sister-in-law Maude, office stenographer, single, 23. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Sallie (Grander) Flemming, 82 widow of David O. Flemming, 530 Walnut street, Royersford. died in the Memorial hospital, Pottstown, Wednesday night at 9:50 o'clock. Bedfast one month at her home, she was removed to the hospital Wednesday afternoon. A resident of Royersford nearly all her life. Mrs. Flemming was a daughter of the late Frederick and Kathryn (Heck) Grander. She was a lifelong member of Royersford Baptist church and a member of the Ladies' aid, and was affiliated with the Legion aids of the American Legion post, Royersford. Mrs. Flemming also was a Gold Star mother of World War I. A son, the late Frederick F. Flemming, was killed in action in France Oct, 1, 1918. Her husband died here one year and four days ago. Surviving are a daughter, Rhea Sheeder, at home, and a son, D. Merrill Flemming, 532 Walnut street; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in a funeral home at 367 Walnut street, with interment in Fernwood cemetery.
