Fisher, farmer, 30, living with wife Martha Ann, 28; Leonard, 11; Gibson A., 8; Agnus J., 6; Polly, 3; Emaline, 2; and "Not Named", a boy 1 month old when the census was recorded 9 Jul 1860. Also in the home were Nicholas' mother and siblings: Maria Fisher, 50; Henry Monks Fisher, 16; Cornelius Fisher, 12; and Isaac Fisher, 25. All were born in Virginia.
Living on the same page: Martha Ann Fisher's parents, Wm. W. Williams, farmer, 63; Rebecca, 55; Thomas, 23; James, 21, and Agnus P., 17. All were born in Virginia.

All were born in West Virginia.
Next door is Martha's brother, Francis M. Williams , 24, with his family. They may all be on the land owned by Martha's father, William Williams, who died in 1869.
The post office was Sallick Bridge.

3. Newspaper: Weston Democrat, 23 Jun 1873, Weston, Lewis, WV. A few days ago, a couple of young men, named Sol Conrad and Gibson Fisher, burglarized the store of Messr. Rollyson & Dyer, taking therefrom considerable property. They were captured and transferred to the care of John C. Humphreys, the jailor, to await the action of the next Grand Jury. The evidence is clear; and they will doubtless learn a trade at Moundsville.

4. Newspaper: Wheeling Daily Register, 30 Aug 1873, Wheeling, Ohio, WV. Penetentiary Arrivals. -- F. Rollins, Gibson Fisher and Marcellus Conrad, were received at the Penetentiary, at Moundsville, on Thursday evening, from Braxton county. They are sentenced to two years confinement, from August 22d, for felony.
