Born June 10, 1928, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Curtis L. Scarbrough and the late Willie Lou Hoosier Scarbrough. Mrs. Reid was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Slick" Reid; brothers, Leon Scarbrough, and Jack Scarbrough; and sister, Evelyn Leach.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 7, 2018, in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.
