Next door was Matthias Buchert, 68, living in the home of John Pugh, farmer, 47, and his wife Sarah [Matthias' daughter?], 44; and children: Sarah Ann,10; John Henry, 7; Washington, 5; Samuel Lane, 4. Also in the home: Sarah Reifsnyder, 15. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.
