2. Obituary: Oil City Derrick: obituary of Hattie Harriet Daubenspeck on 3 Jul 1928 in Oil City, Venango, PA. 4 Mrs. Hattie Harriet Daubenspeck, widow of Marcus Boyd Daubenspeck, who died 14 years ago, died at 9:15 o'clock Monday forenoon at her home at 1339 Buffalo st.
She was born on November 12, 1859, in Butly county and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George McMahon. She had been living in this vicinity for the past 20 years. Prior to that time she had lived a number of years in Oil City. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Franklin.
Surviving are four children: Mrs. Effie Beecher, of Polk; Mrs. Bessie Preto, of Franklin, W. J. Daubenspeck, of Cleveland, and G. B. Daubenspeck of Kansas. Also two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Allen, of Dewey, Oklahoma and Mrs. Jennie Alsworth, of Pittsburgh, and one brother, William McMahon, of Oakdale, Pittsburgh.
The funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon and will be private. Friends may call at any time up to noon Thursday. Interment will be in the Franklin cemetery.
